Nitty Gritty Dirt Band founder and folk hero John McEuen, legendary entertainer, film score composer, and musical icon David Amram, and renowned fiddler Buddy Spicher, leader of the Nashville Swing Band, team up to weave a magical evening of traditional Americana, folk and jazz that celebrates the best of American traditions from the glory of our beautiful country (Amram's "go-west-young-man" rendition of Red River Valley) - to our national folk and country heritage (McEuen's Will The Circle Be Unbroken).

Please Note: Fiddle virtuoso Vassar Clements—originally scheduled for this program—passed away on August 16th from complications due to lung cancer. Vassar himself recently chose famed Nashville fiddler Buddy Spicher, with whom he created the 2004 album Runaway Fiddle, to replace him on this program.
