A Moment of Solidarity with Representative Judy Chu

Representative Judy Chu will be joining the Asian American Council (AAC) in a conversation about the recent rise in hateful rhetoric and violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Rep. Chu is the first Chinese American woman elected to Congress in 2009 and represents the 27th Congressional District, which includes Pasadena and the west San Gabriel Valley. She is the Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus in Congress. In this role, Rep. Chu has been a leading figure, voicing concern about and speaking out against the rise in attacks against the AAPI community.
