ABCs of Course Design: CTLO Short Course for Graduate Students and Post-Docs

Please join us in this active workshop where we will discuss how to use backwards design to develop a well-structured and inclusive course, workshop or lecture. Geared towards graduate students and post-docs, Dr. Jenn Weaver, Associate Director for University Teaching, will facilitate a 2-hour primer on course design.

Topics will include: defining learning outcomes, incorporating active learning activities, developing assessments, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. By the end of this short course, you will have the main tools you need to design a great class of your own.
