Adjustment and Family Orientation and International Scholars Services Orientation
These orientations are for new Caltech scholars. All first time J-1 Exchange Visitors are required to attend both sessions. All other new scholars are highly encouraged to attend one or both sessions with your spouse/partner. Free childcare is offered.

- International Scholar Services Orientation 9:00 AM – 10:20 AM
April Pisano or Charmagne Herlien, International Scholar Advisors, will provide information about regulations affecting your immigration status in the United States.
- Adjustment and Family Orientation 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

CHILDCARE:
The Child Education Center will provide free childcare during both orientation programs only if at least two children are registered in advance. Childcare will not be provided if fewer than two children are enrolled. In that case, you are welcome to bring your child/ren with you to the orientation programs. If necessary, newborn and young babies may attend the orientation programs with you. The teachers will not provide diaper changing. You will need to provide your telephone number to the teachers.
Register children by Monday, January 13, 2014. Provide the age and number of children who will attend. You must arrive with your children at 8:45 AM.
