Graph Cohomology via Toric Geometry

We construct a natural cohomology ring for any finite graph G. Our method involves toric geometry and graph associahedra. The resulting presentation is combinatorial, and allows one to read the cohomology of G directly from G, without knowledge of toric geometry. This work is joint with Matthew Lin.
