Cho Oyu and Denali
Kai Zinn,
Howard and Gwen Laurie Smits Professor of Biology,
Caltech,
Kai Zinn will talk about two exciting expeditions, one to Cho Oyu (26,901 ft.) in 2016 and the other to Denali (20, 320 ft.) in 2018. These are both large, technically easy snow peaks. Kai will also compare and contrast climbing in the Himalayas vs. Alaska.
The talk will be followed by a reception with free refreshments.
