Please join Lynn Lee, PhD, from the Getty Conservation Institute for a talk that discusses what it means to work in the interface of science and art. Lynn will also discuss what opportunities exist and how to find them.
Lynn Lee is an assistant scientist at the Getty Conservation Institute in the Collections Research Laboratory. She received her Ph.D. in physical chemistry at UC Berkeley with Professor Richard Saykally. After spending several years working as a process engineer in Silicon Valley, Dr. Lee received an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in Art Conservation Science at the Straus Center, Harvard Art Museums at Harvard University.
