Appearing in ancient legends and myths, dolphins have long been intriguing to humans. Highly curious and intelligent, they often seem to communicate with people. But few humans have witnessed the full behavioral range of wild dolphins under the ocean. A Dolphin Story uses high-definition cameras attached to a ship's hull to follow a pod of dolphins in the sea of Hawaii. [Sony HD Programs © Sony PCL Inc.]

Watch peacocks strut their stuff and glide gracefully through the air, and see cheetahs up-close in their native habitat, in two selections from Classic Animal Tracks, with stunning images and thoughtful captions. [BBC Motion Gallery]

In a special collaboration with the Pasadena Symphony's "Musical Circus" program, Flamenco guitarist Luis Villegas and percussionist Ray Yslas will perform live to accompany these films.

Michael Hartl, of Caltech's Physics Department, will introduce the films and lead a post-screening discussion.

This event is made possible through Caltech's participation in the CineMuse Network.
