Applied Physics Seminar

The talk focuses on different photonic methods in the field of medical diagnostics. I'm going to give an overview about different research lines of the Nanoengineering Group at nanoGUNE and about the potential and significance of the methods. In particular, I am addressing - implantable microsystems for cardiovascular monitoring and the understanding of the biomechanics of the vascular system - Multimodal optical microsystems for endoscopic applications - Detection of biomarkers/proteins by plasmonic methods - Early detection of Alzheimers by combined Raman/FTIR methods
