Australian Chamber Orchestra

Founded in Sydney in 1975, the Australian Chamber Orchestra appointed Richard Tognetti as artistic director and lead violin in 1989. His inspiring leadership has led the Orchestra in performances that The Times of London stated "Took the breath away. Such supple phrasing and dynamics! Such a gorgeous tone... Such freshness, passion, and commitment!... This group must be the best chamber orchestra on earth." It has won devoted audiences worldwide, including 9,000 subscribers across Australia.
