Wind Orchestra Performance - Saturday, May 14, 2022

The Caltech Jazz Band, directed by Barb Catlin will perform on Friday, May 13 at 8:00 pm in Ramo Auditorium.  They will close their 2021-2022 season with a selection of diverse compositions. The program will feature music by iconic Los Angeles composers, Bob Florence, John Clayton, and Sammy Nestico, as well as a contemporary offering by Maria Schneider featuring undergraduate student Tighe Didden. Graduate student, Elijah Kane, will be featured in a tribute to Chick Corea. The Caltech Jazz Guitar Ensemble, featuring graduate students David Miller and Connor McMahan, will perform a special musical interlude. 

The Caltech Wind Orchestra, directed by Dr. Glenn D. Price will present "American Stories" on Saturday, May 14 at 8:00 pm in Ramo Auditorium.  Featured will be music by John Williams, Frank Ticheli, Erika Svanoe, Oscar Navarro, plus the CWO Chamber Ensembles.Masks are required.

Proof of up to date vaccination and photo ID will be checked at the door.

Admission is free and no tickets needed.
