The 39th annual Bandorama concert will feature:

Caltech Wind Orchestra - Dr. Glenn D. Price, Director

Holst - First Suite in E-flat
Grainger - Irish Tune from County Derry
Ellerby - Clarinet Concerto, featuring Caltech clarinet coach, Lynne Snyder
Bennett, - Suite of Old American Dances

Caltech Jazz Band - Barb Catlin, Director

The Jazz Band's program features an emphasis on Los Angeles composers, as well as selections showcasing specific sections of the band. The trombones will step forward on John Clayton's swinging, "Sunny Side of the Street," and the saxes are tackling the Supersax arrangement of "Cool Blues." Grad students Sophie Miller, Richard Feder & Muir Morrison and freshman drummer, Tighe Didden, will be featured on arrangements by Sammy Nestico, Bill Holman, Bob Mintzer, Thad Jones and Bert Joris.

The same concert will be performed on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.

The concerts are free and open to the public, with no tickets or reservations required. Parking is also free.
