Banff Mountain Film Festival 44th World Tour

Since 2001, Caltech's Alpine Club has been a proud host of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour. Stopping at over 550 locations in 40 countries around the globe, the Tour celebrates the best films shown at that year's Festival in Banff, Alberta, Canada, one of the premier exhibitions of films about mountain and outdoor culture in the world.
This year, the tour has gone virtual! Banff Centre put together three unique programs for us available for online rental from Sept. 16 through Oct. 24 (see rental link below). These programs feature epic films about skiing, running, mountain biking, rock climbing, surfing, and more! Rentals cost $15/individual program or $40 for the bundle of all three programs. The individual programs have a 72 hour rental period; the packaged bundle will have a 7 day rental period (all starting immediately upon viewing).

Tickets purchased through our link directly support the Alpine Club. Club funding is used for a variety of purposes, including buying sports rental gear to loan to people and hosting discounted classes that teach people about safety and first aid in the outdoors.

Virtual viewing parties
Join us for three virtual viewing parties, where we'll be watching the three film programs as outlined below. The viewing parties will include interactive activities, watching the films, and lots of hype, so they're sure to be fun! Note: in order to receive the Zoom link to attend any of our virtual viewing parties, please RSVP through this form (mandatory), and respond to our Facebook event (optional).

If you can't attend the viewing parties, no problem, you can still rent the programs and watch on your own until Oct. 24th!
