Discovery and Preclinical Development of Cancer Therapeutic Enzymes and Antibodies
George Georgiou,
Prof. ,
Biomedical Engineering,
University of Texas, Austin,
Our lab is broadly interested in the discovery and preclinical/clinical development of enzymes and antibodies for cancer therapy. We have in-house discovery and development pipelines with our first drugs scheduled to enter the clinic in the first quarter of 2012.
Two novel cancer therapeutic approaches will be discussed: enzyme therapeutics and engineered Herceptin displaying novel effector functions and enhanced ADCC.
