African dancing has both historic and social significance in expressing elements of culture and telling the stories of individuals, tribes and regions. Dances communicate emotions, celebrate rites of passage, and help strengthen the bonds between members of a community as a whole. Come and learn traditional dance rhythms and songs with ties to several African cultures, and at the same time explore traditional sources of self-knowledge, community cohesion and spiritual communion.
