New York Times bestselling author Bob Schieffer's new book, Face the Nation: My Favorite Stories from the First 50 Years of the Award-winning News Broadcast provides a look behind the scenes of the Sunday morning broadcast.
Schieffer will talk about this engaging memoir of television news and American history, sharing unforgettable insights about the guests, the stories, and the history-making moments of the venerable public affairs program.
Schieffer is chief Washington correspondent for CBS News and anchor and moderator of Face the Nation. He has won six Emmy awards, and in 2002 was named Broadcaster of the Year by the National Press Foundation and elected to the Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
A book signing will immediately follow the talk.
