Caltech Associates: Greening the Globe Through Science
- Public Event
Creating a more sustainable planet begins with curiosity, opportunity, and knowledge. Caltech has a long history of contributing to our environmental well-being that has already changed the world—from identifying the sources of smog to removing lead from gasoline to engineering new enzymes that can convert plant waste into fuel.
Today, Caltech scientists and engineers are carrying forward this legacy with confidence by pursuing new and bold ideas. Hear directly from Professor Jess Adkins who is identifying creative ways to pull carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere, and is currently working on a project that will help make the shipping industry carbon neutral.
This event is open to Associates members and members of the public.
