Explore the Bowers Museum's new exhibit, Empress Dowager Cixi: Selections from the Summer Palace, with Orange County Associates. Maura Dykstra, Caltech assistant professor of history, will share her insights on the tumultuous period of reform and transformation during which Cixi's rise to power won her infamy.
