The program for this concert will feature waltzes by Strauss, Cajun folk songs by local composer Frank Ticheli, and some great old Leroy Anderson selections such as Trumpeters Lullaby and The Typewriter.
Also included in the program will be a solo performance by guest artist Roger Ballenger on one of the first electronic insturments, the theremin, the sound effects machine heard in many soundtracks, old-time radio shows, and even the music of Led Zeppelin.
A reception for all will follow the concert.
