Caltech Holiday Celebration: Movie Screening and Faculty Concert

Join us for a screening of the 1946 holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life, directed by Caltech alumnus Frank Capra (BS 1918).

The film will be preceded by short musical presentations from:

• Julia Greer, piano
  Ruben F and Donna Mettler Professor of Materials Science, Mechanics, and Medical Engineering and Director of the Kavli Nanoscience Institute
• Lucy Jones, viola da gamba
  Visiting Associate in Geophysics and Founder of the Dr. Lucy Jones Center for Science and Society
• Konstantin Batygin, guitar (performing his own compositions)
  Professor of Planetary Science

After their individual performances, the three will come together and perform one of Batygin's pieces.

This event is open to the Caltech community, including Caltech alumni and members of the Friends of Beckman Auditorium and the Caltech Associates.

The event is free, with no tickets or reservations required.
