Caltech Poetry Club Performance

The Caltech Poetry Club will perform their poems at noon on March 1 to celebrate Women's History Month in the second-floor common area of the Center for Student Services. The featured poet will be Noele Norris, a graduating senior in electrical engineering, who has been a strong and inspiring member of the Caltech Poetry Club since its beginning in October 2007. Poets who have attended any of the Poetry Club's meetings are asked to submit poems on the theme of women to [email protected] by February 24, midnight. The club will prepare the first issue of The Caltech Poetry Club Journal. Musical accompaniment will be flutes by mathematics professor Rick Wilson, a dance "for Woman" by Anu Prasad, wife of Niranjan Balachandran, Bateman Instructor in Mathematics. Please plan to perform your poems at this event, and especially to contribute to our first journal.
