Caltech Student Chamber Ensembles

The highlight of this, the first concert of Caltech student chamber music players' spring series, will be Mendelssohn's "Octet" for strings. Written when Mendelssohn was only sixteen years old, it is truly a remakable work. Music by Telemann, Brahms, and Dvorak, as well as a trio for flute, clarinet, and classical guitar will round out the program.

A reception for all will follow the concert.
