Celebration of Life Honoring Ed Brown

The Caltech community mourns the passing of Ed Brown, general manager of event productions in the Office of Strategic Communications, who died last week. Brown joined Caltech in 2012 as a lighting designer and stage technician in Campus Programs, bringing to the Institute years of education and expertise in theatre arts, television scriptwriting, and live event production.

Although Brown's work was primary done behind the scenes, every student who graduated in a Caltech commencement ceremony and every audience member who attended a lecture or performance in Beckman Auditorium, Ramo Auditorium, or on Beckman Mall in the past decade benefited from his craft and expertise.

A celebration of life will be held at the Athenaeum on November 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with lunch to follow. RSVP via email to [email protected] before Wednesday, November 17.
