Charles C. Gates Jr.–Franklin Thomas Laboratory - Dedication and Celebration

Caltech is proud to debut the renovated home for the Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The transformation of the former Franklin Thomas Laboratory of Engineering ushers in modernization while honoring the lab's storied past and the people who helped advance mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and applied mechanics at Caltech.

The program will begin at 4:00 p.m. on the north side of the Gates-Thomas Laboratory. There will be light refreshments following the program, and the building will be open for self-guided tours.
