Chris Stuart and Backcountry

This fine bluegrass band is loaded with talent. Chris Stuart is lead singer and rhythm guitarist with the group and he is also an accomplished songwriter whose songs have been recorded by Claire Lynch, Dale Ann Bradley, Doyle Lawson, and other great performers from the bluegrass world. Janet Beazley plays banjo and is a wonderful singer, as well. Eric Uglum, veteranof numerous bluegrass bands, plays lead guitar and mandolin, and he also sings. His sons, Austin Ward (bass) and Christian Ward (fiddle recently released The Old Road to Jerusalem, recorded with their dad. Chris, Janet, and Eric all have solo albums.
