CMA Presents "An Illinois General in King Charles' Court: Perspectives on Technology Management"
JPL Deputy Director General Eugene Tattini has been at JPL for four months, following a 36-year career in the United States Air Force. During the past 12 years, he was with the Los Angeles Air Force Base Space and Missile Systems Center, where he was responsible for managing the research, design, development, and acquisition of launch systems and satellites. On November 12, General Tattini will review technology management practices of the Department of Defense and compare them to his current impression of NASA and JPL management practices. He will also discuss areas where those practices appear appropriate and ways they could be improved.
General Tattini is a distinguished graduate of the ROTC program and received a B.S. in Industrial Management from the University of Illinois in 1965. He has received the Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.
This event is free. All JPL/Caltech personnel are welcome.
