In this presentation, Vinny Sanchez from DLA Piper will discuss:
- key aspects of intellectual property rights that are generally commercialized
- various partnering and distribution arrangements for commercialization of IP, including joint ventures, licensing, franchising, collaborations, distribution and sales
- key building blocks for the commercialization of an Idea
- moving from "concept" to "revenue" - preparing for showtime without compromising the Idea

Vinny Sanchez is Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper's Technology, Sourcing and Commercial practice. He focuses his practice on complex commercial transactions, with a particular emphasis on transactions involving intellectual property assets and cutting-edge technologies. He represents clients across diverse industries on matters involving joint ventures, strategic alliances, collaborations, licensing, outsourcing and the distribution, commercialization, acquisition and divestiture of intellectual property and technology assets. The respected English research firm Chambers & Partners has repeatedly recognized Mr. Sanchez in its publication Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business in two practice areas, Technology and IT Outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing. Mr. Sanchez is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Notre Dame Law School. He also received his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
