Convocation

Caltech's annual convocation ceremony is a formal welcome and introduction to the Institute for new undergraduate students and their parents, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars. President Jean-Lou Chameau will offer greetings, Dr. Judith Goodstein will present a talk on the great teachers at Caltech, Professor Sossina Haile will discuss her passion for science, and Professor Robert Grubbs will make a presentation on his research, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
