Bio: Dr. Stefania Forner ( University of California Irvine)
Stefania Forner is the Project Manager at University of California Irvine (UCI) for the MODEL-AD, a NIH Consortium among University of California, Indiana University, University of Pittsburgh, Jackson Laboratory and Sage Bionetworks stablished to advance Alzheimer's disease research. She has been working in an academic setting for over 10 years. She has a Master and a PhD in Pharmacology, Business Administration specialization and Project Management certification. Dr. Forner completed her post-doctoral training at UCI in Frank LaFerla's lab. Dr. Forner has had project management experiences in India, US and Brazil playing a key role in different areas of leadership such as chair of REMIND and Mentor for the LGBTQ students at UCI. She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and PMI-OC.
