CTLO Panel: "Careers in Teaching: Alt-Academic Pathways"
For graduate students and postdocs with an interest in teaching, joining the professoriate may seem like the only option. However, there are many other careers which incorporate both teaching and STEM expertise. In this second part of our two-part series on careers in teaching, we will explore some of these alternate career pathways. In this event, we will hear from panelists who will describe their journey from STEM PhD to their current careers, illuminate the day-to-day experience of their positions, and provide advice for current grad students/postdocs who are considering or curious about an alt-academic career.
