The CTLO staff looks forward to partnering with you to prepare for your Winter term courses with workshops from setting up your Canvas Gradebook to engaging with students and getting drop-in help. These workshops will be offered on Zoom.

Engaging Students with Poll Everywhere
December 20, 1-2pm

Poll Everywhere is an in-class polling tool that allows you to collect student answers to problems in class in real time. Learn about the different question types and how you can use it to increase student engagement in your course.

Grading with Rubrics
December 21, 3-4pm

Rubrics are an important part of helping students understand your expectations and guide consistent grading. Learn how to create rubrics for small to large assignments and incorporate their use into Canvas SpeedGrader.

Course Set-Up Drop-In Help
January 2, 11am-Noon

Drop into our EdTech office hours to get last-minute help setting up your course, creating assignments, connecting your Gradescope course, etc.
