David Finckel and Wu Han

The title of this program is "The Unfolding of Music." Not only do individual musical works unfold, but the form of music itself unfolds, constantly adding layersof color and complexity like the petals of a flower.

Designated Musical America's Musicians of the Yearin 2012, David Finckel and Wu Han are also musicians who "have thought outside the box" (The New York Times), most often through innovative programming; the results have earned unprecidented acclaim.
