David Finckel and Wu Han

(BBC Music Magazine) David Finckel, the cellist of the Emerson String Quartet, and pianist Wu Han's exquisite performances are just one aspect of their careers. They launched ArtistLed, the first musician-directed and Internet-based recording company, served for three seasons as artistic directors of SummerFest La Jolla, and in 2004 became artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. The Wall Street Journal has described them as "America's power couple of chamber music."
