"Earth Right Now"—Interactive Community + Climate Conversation
- Public Event
The Earth Right Now event begins at 7:00 p.m. with our Community + Climate Conversation, when a team of scientists, graduate students, and alumni from Caltech will be using iPads and interactive apps developed at Caltech to engage audience and community members, sharing surprising, fascinating aspects of climate change using visuals, simulations, and real-time projected questions and answers around global climate change. Scientists from JPL will also be present to exhibit their popular Images of Change iPad app. Rose City Coffee will be on the scene with free coffee!
Then join us for the 8:00 p.m. performance of Two Degrees, part of of "MACH 33: The Festival of New Science-Driven Plays at Caltech," presented by Theater Arts at Caltech.
This Earth Day event is presented by Theater Arts at Caltech and cosponsored by JPL/NASA, with generous support from Caltech's Linde Center for Global Environmental Science, TIAA-CREF, "Modern Family," Diane and Robert Lang (recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award), and many others.
