Free jazz demonstration and concert

There will be a free jazz demonstration concert on Wednesday, May 8 at 11am in Dabney Lounge. The concert is sponsored by the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences for the benefit of students enrolled in Mu26 - History of Jazz. The concert features well-known jazz players from the area Terry Harrington (reeds), Andy Langham (piano), Kristen Korb (bass) and Jey Giuliano (drums). The players will demonstrate various aspects of their instruments and various styles of jazz performance with renditions of songs from the swing, bop and modern jazz eras. Audience members are welcome to come and go and bring their lunch to eat during the concert.
