GAYPRIL 2013: THE TREVOR PROJECT'S LIFEGUARD WORKSHOP (FOR STUDENTS ONLY)
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth. This workshop will address topics including: examining the impact of language and actions on the experiences and mental health of LGBTQ youth; recognizing the warning signs of depression and suicide among young people and their peers; and responding to those warning signs in a way that keeps everyone safe. ** Please note that this workshop is designed for a student audience. **
