GIS Day 2023

On Wednesday, November 15, the world recognizes GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Day, in which we can help others learn about geography and the real-world applications of GIS that are making differences in our society. As part of GIS Day, Geology Librarian Tony Diaz is offering two classes in what you can do with GIS, one using QGIS (11:00 am–12:30 pm) and the other using ArcGIS Online (2:00–3:30 pm). Both sessions will take place in-person in the Geology Library in North Mudd. There will be snacks!
