Yang-Mills-Einstein Theory as a Double Copy
Henrik Johansson, NORDITA and Uppsala University,

For some time it has been known that gravity in many ways behaves like a square of Yang-Mills theory, order by order in perturbation theory. This idea was made precise by the introduction of the color-kinematics duality and the double-copy property of gravity. While pure gravity is interesting and elegant by itself, in the real world gravity couples to gauge theories and matter with a multitude of couplings and other free parameters. Can such complicated theories still exhibit a double-copy structure? In this talk we consider certain (super-)Yang-Mills-Einstein theories and show that they are double copies of (super-)Yang-Mills theories and a certain bosonic Yang-Mills-scalar theory.
