Ignite Your Teaching (AI Edition): Ideas and Practices You Can Use

Join the CTLO for an informative afternoon discussing AI in teaching at Caltech. Welcome remarks will be given by Caltech President Tom Rosenbaum. Caltech faculty and graduate students from various divisions (CCE, HSS, EAS, and more) will share innovative ways they use AI in their courses. We'll have lightning talks and a reception where you can ask questions and discuss AI in your courses.

Topics include:

  • AI in writing across disciplines
  • Using custom chatbots to answer student questions related to policies and course content
  • Ethics and AI use
  • AI as a career skill
  • Uses and limits of AI tools
  • Practical aspects of implementing AI use in your course
  • Perspective of students on AI use in Caltech courses

Open to all Caltech faculty, instructors, post-doctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students.
