The film Losing Control, a quirky romantic comedy about a female scientist who wants proof that her boyfriend is "the one" will be shown in Ramo Auditorium at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18. (Running time: 91 minutes)
Losing Control is inspired by director Valerie Weiss's experiences earning a PhD in X-ray crystallography at Harvard Medical School.
Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with three of the actors, including lead actress Miranda Kent and "postdocs" Ben Weber (Sex and the City) and Jamison Yang (Transformers). Weiss and three consulting scientists for the film will also participate. Immediately following the panel discussion, cupcakes featured in the movie (white icing with a double helix decoration) will be served.
