Intermediate Latin Dancing Technique Class

Improve your latin dancing technique with this four week-series taught by former CBDC team captain Vanessa Adelmann. Classes start on Sunday, June 12, from 1 to 3pm. Come to any or all of these classes.

Note that there will be no class on Sunday, July 3. The last class will be on Sunday, July 10.

The class will cover techniques on connection, hip and body actions, turns and posture.

Week 1: June 12: 1-2pm Rumba, 2-3pm Samba
Week 2: June 19: 1-2pm Rumba, 2-3pm Samba
Week 3: June 26: 1-2pm Cha-cha, 2-3pm Jive
Week 4: July 10: 1-2pm Cha-cha, 2-3pm Jive

Prerequisites: Dancers should be able to do the basic Bronze figures in the Latin dances.

Cost:

• $4 per class or $15/series (4 weeks) in advance for Caltech students (with ID).
• $4 per class or $15/series (4 weeks) in advance for SURF students from outside institutions (with SURF ID).
• $8 per class or $30/series (4 weeks) in advance for Caltech affiliates and alumni and for students of other universities (with ID).
• $12 per class or $45/series (4 weeks) in advance for all others.
