Intermediate Quickstep Dance Workshop

All summer long, starting this Sunday, the Caltech Ballroom Dance Club will be holding bronze/silver technique workshops taught by top pros and high-level amateurs.

On Sunday, July 17, professional instructor Max Rublyuk will be teaching intermediate quickstep technique. Sample topics include partner connection, movement, timing, posture and musicality.

Max has placed in multiple competitions in the professional divisions including winning the Professional Rising Star Ballroom at the Wisconsin State Dancesport Championships in 2011 with his partner Eugenia Rozhkova. With previous partners, he won the Pro Rising Star Standard at the California Star Ball, Professional International Standard Rising Star at the Ohio Star Ball, and the Professional Open Standard at the Golden State Challenge to name a few. He has also competed at Blackpool in England.

Cost: Cost:
* $5 per class for Caltech students (with ID).
* $5 per class for SURF students (with SURF ID).
* $10 per class for Caltech affiliates and alumni and for students of other universities (with ID).
* $15 per class for all others.
