International Education Week Lecture

Growing up in the foothills of the French Alps, Caltech postdoctoral scholar Flavien Beaud developed a passion for exploring mountains and a scientific curiosity for the stories mountains can tell us. His career has brought him to Switzerland, Germany, Canada, and the U.S. in the study of glaciers and how erosion and climate change are a global concern.
