Orientation is offered for new international scholars at Caltech. All first time J-1 Exchange Visitors are required to attend orientation. All other new scholars, spouses/partners, and families are welcome to attend.
AGENDA:
- Relocation and Adjustment Orientation 1:00 PM – 2:10 PM. New U.S scholars are invited to attend this first part only (not the Immigration part).
We will provide information to assist you and your family as you transition to life in Pasadena. Topics such as housing, driver's licenses, schools, child care, social life, networking, banking and more will be addressed.
- Immigration Orientation 2:15 PM– 3:30PM
We will provide information about regulations affecting your immigration status in the United States.
