International Travel: Exiting and Entering the United States

International students and scholars have been under tremendous pressure during the past year, either unable to travel to the United States or unwilling to risk departure because of the extreme obstacles preventing returning to the country. This two part, joint program, presented by the International Offices and SFCC, will address recent and upcoming changes to international travel and U.S. visa issuance, as well as the provide tools for resilience in the face of uncertainty and isolation.
We will review the two recent announcements about the possibility of in-person visa interview waivers and the forthcoming end of the international travel bans that prohibit direct travel into the United States from 33 countries.
