Abstract: The violation of Bell inequality entails that the statistics compatible with local realism is a proper subset of the set of quantum statistics. While the local set can be fully characterised by a polytope whose extremal points are given by the local deterministic strategies, an explicit characterisation of the quantum set remained elusive. Specifically, little is known about the basic question: how does the quantum set looks like? In this talk, we will touch on the geometric properties of certain well-known quantum statistics and discuss its implication on device-independent self-testing.
