Engineering topological materials in one and two dimensions
Stevan Nadj-Perge, Assistant Professor of Applied Physics and Materials Science,

Abstract: The physics of topological phases and topological phenomena is among the most active research fields worldwide with numerous discoveries and breakthroughs made in the last decade. However, despite significant experimental efforts, many of the technical challenges related to topological materials are still unsolved. In this talk I will give an overview of the current state-of-the-art experiments in this field and describe efforts from my lab aimed to develop novel topological materials for applications in quantum science.
