Animals have evolved some incredibly odd and silly-looking anatomical features in a whole range of shapes and sizes. Their funny noses, multiple eyes, big bottoms, extra long necks, and enormous ears may look absurd, but they fulfill some very useful functions.

Creature Features – a fun, colorful, wacky and informative series – introduces you to the creatures with the weirdest and most unusual body parts in the animal kingdom. [A BBC Production]

For our presentation, percussionist Munyungo Jackson will provide live accompaniment to the film.

Michelle Thaller of Caltech's Infrared Processing and Analysis Center will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.

This event, a collaboration with The Pasadena Symphony, is made possible through Caltech's participation in the CineMuse Network.

Recommended for ages six and up.
