The world relies on rechargeable Li-ion batteries to power cell phones, electric vehicles, and even satellites in space. Yet Li-ion technology is nearing its theoretical limits. Learn about Assistant Professor Kimberly See's efforts to invent a battery that is safer, lower in cost, and essential to enterprising green technologies such as electric aircraft.
