LGBTQ Discussion Group

LGBT Discussion Group_ For those unfamiliar with or new to Cal Tech, this LGBT support group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month (w/a few exceptions, which are usually announced a couple weeks ahead of time) from 7:30pm-9:30pm in the Health Center lounge. The group provides an opportunity for support and friendship w/others who have experienced the challenge of living in a homophobic society. The emphasis of the group is on growth, self-discovery and building community, and is open to any Caltech student, faculty or staff, regardless of sexual orientation, who can offer anaffirmative presence for LGBT issues.

Attendance does not imply anything about one's sexual orientation, and the meeting is confidential. Announcements are usually sent out on the Pride List.
